Collegiate Scholarship Competition
Phi Beta is pleased to offer it's third Collegiate Scholarship competition. Held during a Convention year, the Phi Beta National Scholarship Competition emphasizes a collective opus of the fine arts in scholarship, community, and art form.
The grand prize is $1000
Interested members should submit an application to the National Director of Awards (address below).
Applications for this year's scholarship must be received by May 1, 2008.
Each applicant must:
• be in good financial standing in their chapter & with the national organization at the time of application
• cannot have graduated prior to the 2008 Convention
•complete an essay showing how they exemplify the Creed & 7 Purposes of Phi Beta
• are encouraged to include any supporting evidence that will distinguish themselves as Phi Beta. Supporting evidence includes, but is not limited to: resume, slides of artwork, programs, awards, community service, etc.
